Mr Ulackfocus, thank you.
your post was very insightful, and informative. we sometime forget people that rely on sales to make a living are people too.. but then again, we are almost all in some sort of sales one way or another, but commission based sales particularly presses folks buttons. one of my best friends on earth sells large machinery systems and can earn 20 to $50,000 and higher per sale and after my having a bad experience trying to buy a new vehicle, shared some of his philosophy on the sales profession that really opened my eyes.
my experience is that there are folks that try to "sell" you something, and folks that listen to you and "help" you buy with perceived honesty and interest in you getting what you came for. I used to say people in auto sales made me nervous but now I understand it's very important to work with the "really good sales people" and recognize and avoid the folks are are not good at sales that will frustrate and make the buying experience less than joyful. obviously, not all people in the sales profession should be working in sales due to personality type, lack of training or lack of hard work to become really good. unfortunately, the first two examples tend to give sales people a bad reputation and folks being uncomfortable in the consumer arena. I look for a sales professional that appears friendly open and honest, knowledgeable, and helpful.. I'll buy every time..
now Mr Norse, you have a rare opportunity here, you know what makes these watch buying WIS's tic, now go be successful
have a great Sunday everyone
