I went to a black tie event yesterday and a friend who manages one of the local cinema complex's was there. Last time I saw him I asked him if they had any spare Quantum of Solace movie posters. We went to his car in our tuxedos (very secret agent like) and he opened the trunk taking this out for me this:


Its a very nice poster finished in some higher quality paper then the standard ones.

I cant wait to put it up on my wall after getting it framed. They never used this poster (above) in the cinema's here, they used the standard one (below):

So I'm guessing the one I got was decided not be to used.

This was inspired by muttley's post about the dynamic he saw at his watchmakers. Ever since that post, something drew me to this watch, and after doing a local trade of my blue Oris tt1, I got a mint Omega Dynamic which will now take on the task of beater.

It's been hard getting used to the tiny 36mm size but when I put it on I don't want to take it off and I think that's a good sign, it's fighting my new Breitling for wrist time. Now I am waiting for a grey nato to put it on....

I don't know, I see nothing wrong with it the way it is.. a Co-Axial mov't might be a slight improvement for technical types who those things matter but the Omega 1120 movement holds it's own against the 30/3135 as far as I can see in real life wear , performance , and accuracy. again, no disrespect to Rolex, I have owned 8, and still currently own 3 and I love them but when I asked my watchmaker which is a certified Rolex repair facility and he prefers by a nose the 1120 over the 30/3135. that technical stuff does nothing for me, both my current Sub and 2254 are both less than 1 second a day performers. and the bracelet gets 100 points on the Omega for quality compared to the Sub.
