Brushing my Bracelets - WATCH TALK FORUMS - Best W

DefaultBrushing my Bracelets
Hate the bracelet that Tudor attaches to their watches especially the chronos. Too blingy and too many small parts which I feel makes the watch look feminine.

So, first I decided to brush the centre links of the bracelet....

WOW, nice... better than I expected Came out so well that I also brushed the top of the watch to match the bracelet, but left the sides polished.

Here's the watch with brushed original bracelet, but still not too happy with it. It really needs an OYSTER bracelet.

OK, got one. Previous attempt at polishing the centre links but the brushed effect was "too deep" on the links and the underlying marks can still be seen.

Time to refurbish the bracelet and brush it again....sweet!

Yup, this is EXACTLY what I imagined it to be! No need to do anything to it again.

brushed ss daytona bracelet.... - WATCH TALK FORUM

Defaultbrushed ss daytona bracelet....
hi gang,

a couple of pics of my ss daytona bracelet on my gmt. i recently brushed the polished center links to a matte finish and i love it even more. the daytona bracelet might look like a regular oyster bracelet but due to it's weight and superior construction of the clasp is an absolute luxury.

i used a green and yellow scotchbrite sponge. you have to use the green and yellow one. use the coarse green side and brush the bracelet with mild pressure in one direction with the the bracelet flat on a surface. a couple of passes and it gives the perfect texture.

it took me about ten seconds to do this.

best,

cl
